• About Us

A Family of Excellent Magazines. Passionate Employees. Happy Customers.

From the ad designs, to the editorial content, to the page layouts, we are passionate about producing great looking, content rich publications that have real and lasting value to the reader. As residents of the communities our publications serve, we have a vested interest in advertising that helps your business succeed. After all, it's the people, places, and businesses of our communities that make them special.

How Our Town Magazine Began

In October 2004 Tower Publications was asked to meet with the President of the Chamber of Commerce in High Springs to discuss ways we could help market the chamber. A several months later, the first edition of the High Springs & Alachua magazine was published. Less than a year later the Newberry & Jonesville Edition joined the family and now these historically close knit communities shared their own community lifestyle magazine. Enjoyed by readers for its locally written content and by advertisers for it's fair and reasonable rates, it wasn't long before we were fielding questions about starting a Gainesville Edition. And, with 2010 comes the beginning of the next edition of Our Town Magazine.

Our Dedicated Editorial Staff

Our Editor and his staff work closely each issue to develop the editorial content you see. All of our content is locally written and many of the ideas for stories come from our readers. Focusing primarily on areas of local interest, we strive to combine an interesting collection of articles about people and places in our communities, timely and pertinent columns, as well as a comprehensive calendar of events, festivals and area happenings. If you have an idea you would like to share, please contact the editor
